FaktorTel are able to provide real world phone numbers directly connected to your Internet Phone. What this means is that you could have a Melbourne phone number connected to your Internet phone.
For example, the number could be: ( 03 ) 1234 5678
When this number is dialled from any other phone in Australia your internet phone will ring and you will be able to take the call.

Question: What phone numbers are we able to provide?
A DID Number does not have to reside in the location where you are, this means you may have a number that is outside your area so that customers or friends and family can call you at local call rates if they are situated in the locality where your number exists. Customers can have multiple DID's for different locations on their account.

Question: Do I have to live in a particular area to get a number in that area?
A DID Number does not have to reside in the location where you are, this means you may have a number that is outside your area so that customers or friends and family can call you at local call rates if they are situated in the locality where your number exists. Customers can have multiple DID's for different locations on their account.A Local ( Geographic ) Number can only be provided for an area in which you have a physical location
( ie. you need to live in Noosa to be given a Noosa Local Number ). Customers with multiple physical locations can be allocated Local numbers for each location if desired.

A DID Number is a number which is connected to a FaktorTel Point Of Presence in a FaktorTel connected City area. These numbers are not portable, however may be issued out of your locality. Most packages include a free DID. |
